What this class works with
A standing sequence built around the felt difference between a stop and a pause: when movement stops, awareness keeps flowing. The class explores this through a C-shape arm pattern with the hollow shifting between the front and back body, a side bend into rotation, and a kneeling arm sequence rising from child's pose.
In this class
- •C-shape arm pattern: hips back, arms forward, alternating the hollow between front and back body as the arms rise and lower
- •Dynamic pendulum with an elbow flexion option, heel lift into floating chair
- •Side bend into rotation, dropping the arms and floating a ragdoll across the pelvic half before rising on the opposite side
- •Step back into Trikonasana with a block, front knee flexing while the back foot moves through plantar flexion and dorsiflexion
- •Three-legged downward dog with an optional small leap at the bottom of the knee flexion
- •Kneeling arm pattern rising from child's pose: arms forward and up, hips back into a round, then a side bend with one arm sweeping the floor
- •Recovery: rolling the head with the opposite arm reaching away to create distance, then Shavasana with legs on a chair
